A Woburn purveyor of new and used lab equipment has purchased a Hudson warehouse for $1.6 million.
The deal for the 18,000-square-foot building on a 1.5-acre parcel at 15 Robert Bonazzoli Avenue, closed on Nov. 22.
New owner Lab World Group plans to occupy 8,200 square feet of space. The company specializes in helping clients recoup money through the sale of retired, decommissioned pharmaceutical and used laboratory.
Lab World said it has grown from a startup into a retailer with global reach. Among the items listed for sale in its website include a 3.7 cubic foot gravity convection oven for $899, and a Thermo Scientific orbital reciprocating shaker priced at $949.
The seller was 15 Bonazzoli Avenue LLC, which operates Chaves Heating & Air Conditioning Inc., a Hudson company managed by Manuel Chaves, who purchased the property in 2006 for $1.2 million. Chaves plans to stay in the building, as he leased 5,760 square feet of space in the building from Lab World.
The deal was brokered by Tyler DeWolfe and Benjamin Gatti of Greater Boston Commercial Properties in Northborough.
