The Princeton Review Inc., based in Framingham, has appointed Linda Whitlock, the former CEO of Boys & Girls Clubs of Boston, to its board of directors.
Whitlock replaces Clyde Williams, who is now political director of the Democratic National Committee. Richard Sarnoff also resigned the board, after serving there since 1998, to concentrate on other commitments. With those changes, the Review reduced its board's size to seven members.
Earlier in her career, Whitlock held roles in the administrations of Massachusetts Governors Michael Dukakis and Edward King. She has also taught at MIT, Tufts University and the University of Michigan.
She already serves on the boards of directors at for a number of institutions, including Brigham and Women's Hospital, Brandeis University, the Boston Museum and Boston After School & Beyond.
