Hopkinton-based Weston Nurseries says it will open a second location in Chelmsford this spring.
The new facility will be located at 160 Pine Hill Rd. in Chelmsford. It will include 7,000 square feet of indoor shopping space and 2.5 acres of outdoor shopping. The nursery will also feature a 5,000-square-foot greenhouse.
Weston Nurseries got its start in Weston 88 years ago, later moving to Hopkinton. The company sold a 742-acre tract of its Hopkinton land in 2007 for $25 million to help it emerge from bankruptcy.
