RCN Metro Optical Networks, which has more than 100 employees at two locations in Westborough, has been acquired from RCN Corp. by private investment fund Abry Partners LLC and has changed its name to Sidera Networks.
Michael Sicoli, previously the company’s CFO, has been named CEO. The company has hired Ed O’Hara to take Sicoli’s place as CFO. The rest of the company’s leadership team will remain in place.
Sidera is a fiber optic network services firm.
Financial terms of the transaction were not disclosed.
