Westborough technology PR firm Rainier Communications has hired Laura Ackerman as a senior account manager.
Ackerman has worked in the public relations field for more than 12 years, most recently as a freelance marketing consultant assisting on the social media strategy for the winning campaign of State Treasurer Steve Grossman and other projects.
Prior to that, Ackerman was the director of public relations and account services at Fuseideas, which has offices in Boston. Ackerman also served as a senior public relations manager at Boston-based Kel & Partners.
She has an MBA from Bentley College in Waltham and a bachelor’s in art history from Brandeis University in Waltham.
