Westborough Firm In Prison Records Deal

Westborough-based eClinicalWorks has signed an agreement to supply its electronic medical records software to prisons.
The agreement is with Correctional Medical Services Inc., a provider of medical, dental and pharmacy services to prisons. The company operates in 17 states and manages statewide prison health services in 10 states.
The St. Louis, Mo.-based company said the eClinicalWorks system will allow it to streamline its processes and utilize chronic and preventative care measures for suicide watch alerts and detox monitoring.
Financial terms of the agreement were not disclosed.
