The New York eHealth Collaborative will use Westborough-based eClinicalWorks for electronic medical records for more than 5,000 health care providers across New York state.
The collaborative is the coordinating regional extension center for the State of New York.
Nationally, the regional extension center program will use $598 million in grants to establish 60 centers aimed at bringing together group practices, hospitals, community health centers and other health care organizations.
New York’s extension center has chosen eClinicalWorks as its “preferred vendor” for electronic medical records.
The company has relationships with other health care organizations throughout New York as well.
