Westborough data firm pays $2.6M for Hudson office

A Westborough data security firm has paid nearly $2.6 million to buy an office building on Forest Avenue in Hudson.
Security Engineered Machinery, or SEM, bought the office building at 108 Forest Ave. through a limited liability corporation registered to three of its executives, as part of a planned expansion. The company is now based in an office building on Walkup Drive, just off Flanders Road.
SEM bought the building from an LLC registered to Francis and Cynthia Albert of Maine. The sale closed Dec. 15.
