Westborough cloud computing company Horizon Info Services LLC has opened its first remote office.
The company said the “mid-South” office, located near Austin, Texas, will help it support small and mid-size businesses nationally. Carol Gwynn-Adams, who previously worked as an account executive for Google Enterprise, will manage the office.
For now, the new office is focusing on selling Google Apps for Business and Google Postini Services. Later this quarter it will start selling other services, including web security and online backup services, the company said.
