Miach Orthopaedics, a bioengineering company headquartered in Westborough, has appointed Arjun Ishwar as its new vice president of sales and marketing.
Ishwar is taking over for Michael McNulty, who left the company in September and now serves as a business consultant for M&M Coaching & Consulting, according to his LinkedIn profile.
Ishwar will lead commercialization for Miach’s bridge-enhanced ACL restoration (BEAR) implant, which launched in the fall of last year, according to a Tuesday press release from Miach.
“Arjun is a proven leader in the medical device field and has a strong track record of developing and implementing business strategies for medical technologies that improve patients’ lives. Lending his expertise to the BEAR Implant is a natural fit,” Patrick McBrayer, president and CEO of Miach Orthopaedics, said in the same press release. “Our experience working together to drive adoption of tissue regeneration products will be invaluable as we continue the commercial rollout of the BEAR Implant in the U.S.”
Ishwar earned his bachelor’s degree and master’s degree in biomedical engineering from Purdue University in Indiana. His positions prior to joining Miach include chief commercial officer of Montreal-based MY01, senior director and general manager at Maryland-based ACell, and other sales and marketing roles at New Jersey-based Integra LifeSciences.
