KPM Analytics, a Westborough scientific instrumentation company specializing in food and agricultural industries, launched its new Sightline TheiaVu Series Compact Vision Inspection System, according to a Monday press release.
The new device is a benchtop analyzer allowing bakeries, snack food manufacturers, and meat producers to focus on quality control by providing the measurement of size, shape, color, and toppings of each product going through the system, per the release.
According to KPM, the device’s new crumb analysis capability produces high-quality images and data of the internal structure of bread products.
“Whether they’re developing new recipes in their R&D lab or pulling grab-samples for process control, vision technology will enable our customers to expand their product analysis capabilities. TheiaVu is really a game changer and we’re excited to offer it,” said Donnalynn Manion, general manager at Sightline Process Control Inc., in the press release.
