Westboro-based Gene-IT has joined the BioIT Alliance, an industry group formed in 2006 to foster collaboration between pharma, biotech, hardware and software companies.
Specifically, the BioIT Alliance is working to improve biomedical information technology on the Microsoft platform.
Gene-IT’s flagship product, known as GenomeQuest, is a Web-based application that integrates, mines and analyzes sequence data from dozens of scientific and patent sources worldwide.
