West Boylston Firm Receives Industry Award
The "Home Sweet Home" cookie cutter greeting card got Checkerboard Ltd. a first place LOUIE Award.
Checkerboard Ltd., a West Boylston stationery and invitation manufacturer, has received its 10th LOUIE Award from the Greeting Card Association.
The company had three products named as finalists and took home the top honors in the Christmas/Seasonal, Box/Catalog Above $2.50 category, with its "Home Sweet Home" cookie cutter greeting card.
"We are honored to receive our tenth LOUIE Award and to be recognized amongst our peers for our creativity and craftsmanship," said Micah Chase, president of Checkerboard. "We pride ourselves on our high quality, hand-crafted products as well as our customer service, but at the end of the day, we only get to show off our quality and service if our designs truly stand-out and attract the customer."
