Release Well-Being, a holistic wellness center, is opening at the site of the historic Nathan Fisher House on Route 9 in Westborough.
The building has been completely renovated after years of vacancy, according to a statement from Release owner Linda Townsend this week. The 11,000-square-foot center includes two buildings, including the Nathan Fisher House and a new, 7,000-square-foot building.
The Nathan Fisher House, vacant since the Lyman School for Boys closed in the 1970s, houses a cafe, yoga and wellness education studio, a boutique and administrative and coaching offices. The new building, known as The Sanctuary, features a 1,500-square-foot heated yoga studio, a fitness studio, boutique, locker rooms, and spa.
The grounds include an outdoor yoga and fitness space, meditation garden and tranquility garden and fire pits for outdoor events.
A ribbon-cutting ceremony and gala will take place on March 30.
