Grocery delivery service Instacart is increasing its presence in Central Massachusetts with a new partnership with Price Chopper in Webster.
The service at the East Village Square supermarket on Worcester Road will begin Thursday.
The Webster Price Chopper location joins an Oxford, Conn. Market 32 as the newest stores to sign onto partner with New York-based Instacart.
Via a smartphone app or website, a customer can order groceries and an Instacart employee will deliver them to the front door.
Instacart began offering its service to select stores in the Worcester area in September, and has since named eight retail chains to offer its customers the service, including BJ’s, Wegmans, PriceRite and Big Y.
Other Price Chopper and Market 32 locations in Hopkinton and Sutton, respectively, already have begun delivering groceries via Instacart.
