Webster Five Cents Savings Bank sold its former Auburn offices at 10 A St. for $2 million in a sale closed on Sept. 13, according to the Worcester South District Registry of Deeds.
The 19,200-square-foot building sold to a firm registered at 99 Hope Ave in Worcester, the location of plastics manufacturing company Pobco, Inc.
The building is assessed by the Town of Auburn at $1.2 million.
In July, Webster Five announced it was moving its corporate offices to Millbury Street in Auburn and consolidating 100 staff members from its offices in Auburn, Webster, and Worcester to increase efficiency and collaboration.
On its website, the bank still lists branches in Worcester, Webster, Shrewsbury, Oxford, Dudley, and Southbridge Street in Auburn, in addition to its Millbury Street headquarters.
