The Webster Five Cents Savings Bank will open a customer contact center at the bank's Auburn location this October.
Set to open Oct. 3, the center at 400 Southbridge St. will house a team heading up responses to customers via call-in, email or inquiry through the bank’s website. The contact center will also provide customer support for online account opening, according to a release from the bank.
The center consists of a team of six current Webster Five employees, including Contact Center Manager Tina Devlin. Devlin has been with Webster Five for more than 20 years and most recently served as the deposit operations customer service supervisor.
According to Webster Five, having this centralized hub will allow branches to concentrate better on local customers.
Webster Five Cents Savings Bank is a full-service, $741 million savings bank. The main office is in Webster, with branch offices in Webster, Dudley, Oxford, Auburn, Worcester and Shrewsbury.
