Web Industries, an employee-owned contract manufacturing organization based in Marlborough, has named Megan Glidden as the company’s new chief financial officer.
Glidden, who most recently served as vice president of financing and global financial planning and analysis for Shirley-based plastic fabricator Bemis Associates, will be based at the company’s Marlborough headquarters and report directly to CEO and President John Madej, according to a Tuesday press release from the company.
"Megan comes to Web Industries with a diverse background of foundational roles and business experiences,” Madej said in the press release. “We look forward to her contribution to our team."
Glidden attended the Senior Executive Chief Financial Officer Program at Columbia University in New York and holds a master’s degree in accounting from Bentley University in Waltham. In addition to her time at Bemis, she has served as an accounting manager at Schafer Corp., a Virginia-based scientific and engineering support organization, and a controller at iProspect, a Boston-based digital marketing agency, according to her LinkedIn profile.
Glidden replaces former CFO John MacInnes, who retired from the role in March 2022, according to a post on his LinkedIn profile. MacInnes has remained with the company as an independent director on its board.
