Marlborough’s Web Industries is seeking to move into the next tier of contract manufacturing with the help of Kevin Young, who has been appointed as the company’s vice president of corporate development.
The contract manufacturing organization serves the aerospace, medical diagnostics, consumer health and hygiene, multi-insulation and wire and cable markets. According to Mark Pihl, Web’s president and chief operating officer, the company’s core markets are positioned for growth. To that end, Young will be responsible putting in place changes that will expand Web’s reach throughout all its markets.
Young has been a member of Web’s board of directors since 2014. He has worked for companies including Mondi, Avery Dennison, Sony and Gillette.
