Workers’ Credit Union of Fitchburg recently partnered with six other credit unions throughout the Midwest to provide private student loans to students at ITT Technical Institutes around the country.
The organization, Student CU Connect, was formed by the Rochdale Group, a Kansas-based credit union consulting firm, and its sole purpose will be to provide ITT Tech students with student loans.
The six other participating credit unions are: Eli Lilly Federal Credit Union in Indianapolis; Bellco Credit Union in Green Wood Village, Colo.; Community America Credit Union in Kansas City, Mo.; Directions Credit Union in Toledo, Ohio; Veridian Credit Union in Waterloo, Iowa and Credit Union of America in Wichita, Kan.
ITT Tech serves more than 62,000 students in 37 states.
