The Worcester Business Journal’s 2022 Central Mass. Health Care Forum has been moved from its planned date on Tuesday to Oct. 25.
The event will examine industry trends driving change throughout the local healthcare system. It will now take place remotely via Zoom and is to run from 8:30 to 10 a.m on Oct. 25th. Registration for this free event is available here.
The keynote speaker for the forum will be John McDonough, professor of public health practice and director of executive and continuing professional education at Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health in Boston.
Panelists will include McDonough, along with Matthew Herndon, senior vice president and chief state programs officer at Worcester insurer Fallon Health, Stephen Kerrigan, president and CEO at Edward Kennedy Community Health Center in Worcester, and Kristin Mattocks, associate dean of veterans affairs and professor of population and quantitative health sciences at UMass Chan Medical School in Worcester.
Topics discussed at the event will include, but not be limited to, health equity and what it means when in conjunction with new healthcare regulations, and prescription pricing with changing policy concerning Medicare.
The forum is designed for business owners and executives in both for-profit and nonprofit sectors, healthcare leaders, community leaders, and all others interested.
