SLOTS OPPOSITION
This respondent to our Sept. 2 Page One story, Crunch Time For Slots Parlor Players, believed we missed something in our reporting on the Millbury proposal. But, three days after the comment was posted to the web, the developers of the Millbury site had withdrawn their plans, citing the strength of the opposition.
The author should make a visit to Millbury and see all of the lawn signs in opposition to the slots (many of which have mysteriously gone missing).
