The Worcester Business Journal editorial staff is seeking readers' ideas for this year's Power 50, WBJ's annual list of the most influential professionals in Central Massachusetts.

"More important than having power is how you wield it," WBJ Editor Brad Kane said. "In our Power 50 list, we seek to draw a dynamic picture of how power is held and used throughout Central Massachusetts, as told through the people who best used their influence to have an outsized impact on the economy."

Last year's Power 50 included hospital executive Dr. Eric Dickson, flower farmer Grace Lam, developer Bo Menkiti, government liaison Jessica Strunkin, and incubator executive Jon Weaver.

The earlier ideas are submitted for the Power 50, the more likely those people will be considered as WBJ's editorial staff goes through its three-month process to develop the list. Any ideas submitted after Feb. 18 will not be considered.

To submit an idea for the Power 50, send an email to Editor Kane at bkane@wbjournal.com. Provide details on the power each person holds and how they use it to have influence over the Central Massachusetts business community.

The profiles detailing the Power 50 of 2022 will be published in the May 2 edition of WBJ.
