Worcester Business Journal debuted its new look on Monday, with a redesign to the print edition complete with a new logo and switch to a more visual storytelling style.
"The new WBJ logo and print design is emblematic of the habits of the modern print reader, who consume their information through an entire package of stories, charts, graphics and photos -- rather than a straightforward story," Editor Brad Kane said. "We wanted to create a print product that has more staying power throughout the business offices of Central Massachusetts, contrasting to the immediacy of the website."
The new logo focuses on the shorthand of the publication's name -- WBJ -- while still maintaining its long-time branding as Worcester Business Journal, said Kane.
While the new logo debuted in the print edition on Monday, it will roll out into WBJ's various other products over the course of the next month, including on WBJournal.com, in the enewsletters, at WBJ events and throughout the company's branding.
