United Kingdom manufacturer Watson-Marlow has broken ground on a new 150,000-square-foot facility in Devens, the company announced on Wednesday.
Watson-Marlow is a subsidiary of Watson-Marlow Fluid Technology Group, based in the United Kingdom, which specializes in niche peristaltic pumps and fluid path technologies used in food, pharmaceuticals, chemical, and environmental industries.
The new facility will be dedicated to peristaltic pumps, tubing, fluid path solutions, and BioPure components, per Wednesday’s announcement. It will feature seven cleanrooms, warehousing, offices, and space for expansion within the initial footprint.
Some 150 new jobs are expected to become available as a result of the expansion. It’s expected to be complete in late 2022.
