Waters Corp., a Milford manufacturer of lab equipment, announced new pieces of equipment at sciences conference Pittcon 2020 in Chicago.
The new Discovery X3 Differential Scanning Calorimeter will allow researchers to compare various formulations or competitive materials side-by-side under the exact same test conditions. A collection of three new Discovery Hybrid Rheometers are five times more sensitive than previous versions and will allow for more information to be obtained from less material. The final product unveiled is the TAM IV Micro XL Microcalorimeter designed to give researchers a better understanding of battery discharging and charging dynamics.
The company announced the new equipment on Monday, saying it supports the development of next-generation materials and products. According to Waters, these products allow for greater efficiency in streamlining laboratory operations.
