Waters, Hitachi Sign Sales Agreement

Milford-based Waters Corp. has signed an agreement permitting Hitachi High Technologies America Inc. to sell Waters equipment.
Under the agreement, Hitachi will sell Waters liquid chromatography equipment to existing Hitachi customers in North America.
Waters said the move makes the company's products available to a wider market that has not had access to Waters equipment in the past.
Hitachi High Technologies America is based in Illinois and is a wholly owned subsidiary of Japanese industrial technology giant Hitachi Corp.
Waters develops laboratory equipment used in health care, environmental, food safety and drug research.
