Milford-based Waters Corp. announced it will sponsor two American Chemical Society Achievement Awards, which recognize outstanding accomplishments in the fields of separations science and technology and mass spectrometry.
Waters will sponsor the Frank H. Field and Joe L. Franklin Award for Outstanding Achievement in Mass Spectrometry. Winners of the award receive $5,000 and a certificate, along with travel arrangements to the 233rd National Meeting and Exposition in Chicago.
Waters Corp. Division president Art Caputo said in a statement, “It’s important for companies like Waters to take an active role in furthering the goals of the American Chemical Society and acknowleding scientific achievement in separations sciences and mass spectrometry, two very important areas of focus for Waters Corp.”
