Waters Corp. completed the acquisition of Wyatt Technology, a light-scattering and field-flow fractionation instrument, software, services, and accessories company based in Santa Barbara, California, according to a Wednesday press release from Waters.
Waters, which is headquartered in Milford, announced the plan to acquire Wyatt in February for $1.4 billion.
"We are pleased to complete the acquisition of Wyatt, which is a significant milestone for Waters as we advance our strategy to accelerate value creation and generate faster growth," Waters President and CEO Udit Batra said in a press release on Wednesday. "With Wyatt, we are even better positioned to solve our customers' critical challenges with differentiated bioanalytical characterization techniques."
Waters said it expects to generate more than $70 million in annual revenue savings by the fifth year following the acquisition.
