Academic staff and graduate students at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology’s Center for Real Estate in Cambridge will gain access to records for research and to advance the center's mission to "advance the art and science of global real estate, bridging the gap between theory and practice."
"As collectors of more than 3 million real estate and mortgage transactions a year, we have the infrastructure to pinpoint unique data segments and illuminate trends. The brilliant minds at the CRE will draw out new insights that can make an impact on the industry’s future," Tim Warren, CEO of The Warren Group, said in a statement announcing the partnership Tuesday morning.
Said Albert Saiz, director of the MIT Center for Real Estate: "This is a very promising association that will certainly lead to new scientific insights into the dynamics of real estate markets. The Warren Group’s reputation and leadership in real estate data and analytics makes them an ideal partner to MIT CRE."
