Warby Parker, the New York-based retailer of eyeglasses, is opening its 13th Massachusetts location at The Shops at Blackstone Valley in Millbury on Saturday.
The store will feature the company’s full line of eyewear and contact lenses and will offer eye examinations for customers, according to a press release issued by the company on May 13.
Located in between a T-Mobile location and a Sephora makeup and skincare shop, the 5,300-square-foot store features custom artwork from Simone Martin-Newberry, a Chicago-based artist.
Warby Parker’s other Central Massachusetts location is at the Natick Mall. Founded in 2010 as an online-only retailer, the company now operates 245 storefronts, according to its website.
Constructed in 2004, The Shops at Blackstone Valley is one of the largest open air shopping plaza in Central Massachusetts. The plaza hosts a number of national retailers, restaurants, and businesses, including Target, a 110 Grill restaurant, and a Showcase Cinema de Lux movie theater.
