The Walmart Supercenter located at 25 Tobias Boland Way in Worcester announced on Thursday it was temporarily closing for cleaning and restocking purposes.
The retailer will be closed starting Thursday 2 p.m. and will reopen Saturday at 6 a.m., according to Walmart’s Facebook post.
Pharmacy curbside services will remain open at its normal schedule during the course of the store’s closure and sanitation.
The Worcester-based Walmart was previously closed in April 2020 after 23 employees tested positive for coronavirus, and the City of Worcester forced its closure, due to a number of employees not wearing masks. The store was able to reopen after professional sanitation services were administered and all 400 employees were either tested or re-tested for COVID-19.
