Lt. Gov. Timothy Murray traveled to Princeton this morning to help launch a multi-million dollar renovation at Wachusett Mountain State Reservation.
During the next year, construction crews will be making about $6 million in improvements to the roadway leading up to the summit of Mount Wachusett. Plans are also in place to build a $1.3 million observation tower at the summit.
Murray’s stop was part of an effort to promote the Massachusetts Works initiative, which kicked off earlier this month and is designed to publicize new building projects that receive public funds.
