Wachusett Mountain Ski Area in Princeton and California tech transportation firm Uber on Wednesday announced a partnership to get more visitors to the resort.
The deal provides a $25 Uber credit to riders who use the code SKIWAWA when traveling to the Wachusett Mountain resort.
The move is the latest by Wachusett Mountain to get more visitors to the resort without using their cars. Earlier this month, the MBTA announced the Ski Train from Boston, where riders pay a flat $23 round-trip fee to ride from North Station to the Wachusett Station in Fitchburg, before getting on the resort’s free shuttle to the mountain.
CORRECTION: A previous version of this article incorrectly said the Ski Train leaves from Boston's South Station. It actually leaves from North Station.
