A case of Yuengling, some candy and a humiliating video are going to feel so, so nice while hitting the slopes on Monday after another New England Patriots championship.
That is of course if the Patriots can pull off a victory against the Philadelphia Eagles in Super Bowl LII on Sunday, which would be New England's sixth championship.
The beer and Peeps candy will come from Pennsylvania-based Blue Mountain, which struck a friendly wager on the big game with Princeton-based Wachusett Mountain.
In the unlikely event that the Eagles win, the ski resort will send Blue Mountain a case of Wachusett Brewery beer and a case of seltzer from Worcester-based Polar Beverages, which is owned by the owners of Wachusett Mountain.
It's not just booze and sweets on the line here, folks - it's also pride.
Blue Mountain General Manager and CEO Barb Green will ski down her mountain in a New England jersey, and vice versa for Wachusett Mountain President Jeff Crowley, who will wear a Eagles jersey.
The losers will post video evidence of the embarrassing ski to their respective ski resorts’ social media accounts.
The two posted a video of the agreement to Youtube when Green visited Wachusett on Wednesday.
