The Dubliner Irish Whiskey is partnering with Wachusett Brewing Co. for its first American collaboration.
For Westminster-based Wachusett, it’s a partnership that sent its beer across the Atlantic Ocean and back before it hits shelves.
The Dubliner shipped casks of its Bourbon Cask Aged Irish Whiskey to Wachusett last year, who then filled them with its Quinn’s Amber Ale. The beer was aged in Kentucky bourbon oak casks for months before being shipped back to Dublin.
Quinn’s Barrel Aged will be released on tap and in 16-ounce cans in Central Massachusetts as soon as this week, Wachusett said.
