Worcester-based VNA Care has entered into a management agreement with Porchlight VNA/Home Care, which was previously led by VNA Care President and CEO Holly Chaffee.
Chaffee held that same role with Chicopee-based Porchlight from 2009 to January 2018 before taking the lead at VNA Care. Now, she’ll resume leadership of that organization along with VNA Care’s senior leadership team.
In a statement, Chaffee said she has maintained an admiration for Porchlight’s staff and a deep connection to the Western Massachusetts communities the organization serves.
“Together VNA Care and Porchlight have a wonderful opportunity to innovate home health across the Commonwealth to provide all of our patients with the right care that keeps them happy and comfortable in their homes. I look forward to working with our talented teams to achieve this vision,” she said.
Together, the joint organization spans a geography covering more than 250 cities and towns in Massachusetts.
Now, the organization provides care for residents in 10 Massachusetts counties.
Porchlight VNA/Home Care is the only agency in Western Massachusetts rated five stars by the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services.
During Chaffee’s time in Western Massachusetts, the organization received several industry awards and was given high marks from the state Department of Public Health, VNA care said in its Monday announcement.
