Vivox powers online marketing group

Framingham-based Vivox Inc. has partnered with a California marketing company to develop virtual classrooms, concerts and other online marketing tools that use Vivox’s online communications technology. Illusion Factory, the partner, has made promotional campaigns for high-profile television programs, including "Friends" and "The West Wing." Vivox technology allows Internet users to talk and hear each other through their computers, a potential that has drawn a lot of attention from the $24.2 billion video game industry. FierceGameBiz, a gaming industry publication, yesterday named Vivox to its "Fierce 15" list – a compilation of that industry’s most innovative, privately held companies.
