Jim Francis has been appointed senior vice president of the Banking, Financial Services and Insurance (BSFI) business for Westboro-based Virtusa Corporation.
In this role, Francis will be expected to building client relationships for Virtusa, a firm specializing in IT consulting, technology, and outsourcing services. Prior to joining the company, Francis was vice president of Consulting Services and Managing Partner at Neovera, an IT consulting firm headquartered in Virginia. Francis also previously worked for American Management Systems, spending 18 years at the Montreal, Quebec-based IT consulting company.
Kris Canekeratne, Virtusa’s chairman and CEO, said that Francis will help to expand the company’s roster of financial services clients.
