Framingham-based Virgin Pulse, a technology company focused on employee wellness, said it will partner with Fitbit on corporate wellness programs for Virgin Pulse clients.
The partnership with the San Francisco healthcare technology firm will give Virgin Pulse customers preferred pricing on Fitbit wearable trackers, which measure activity and personal health data, while extending Virgin Pulse’s wellbeing platform to Fitbit Group Health customers, according to a statement from Virgin Pulse.
The companies will also work together to address challenges clients face in managing corporate wellness programs.
“By combining Fitbit’s innovative trackers with Virgin Pulse’s comprehensive wellbeing platform, companies will be able to leverage the combined strength of two of the most powerful brands in corporate wellness,” said Amy McDonough, general manager of Fitbit Group Health, in a press release.
