Worcester Polytechnic Institute has hired Michelle Vigneux as director of annual giving at the Office of Development and Alumni Relations.
Vigneux previously held the same position at Lasell College in Newton for two years. Before that, she was senior assistant director of The Clark Fund and of alumni affairs at Clark University in Worcester.
In her new position, Vigneux will lead WPI’s efforts to raise more than $2.6 million annually, increase unrestricted support, develop direct-mail solicitations and launch new online giving efforts.
Vigneux has a bachelor’s degree in English communication from Lebanon Valley College in Pennsylvania and a master’s degree in public administration from Clark University. She lives in Worcester.
