SeaChange International Inc., a video-on-demand software and hardware maker based in Acton, reported a net loss of $3.7 million on revenue of $40.1 million for the fourth quarter.
For the company’s 2007 fiscal year, which ended January 31, revenue was a record $161.3 million, a 28 percent increase over the $126.3 million it reported in the previous fiscal year.
Net loss for fiscal year 2007 was $8.2 million, compared with a net loss of $12.3 million for the previous year.
The company said it expects further revenue growth in the first half of the 2008 fiscal year, and profitability by the second half.
