Veterans Inc. Nets $400K For Veteran Job Training, Support
The U.S. Department of Labor (DOL) announced this week it would award $20 million to veteran advocacy nonprofits, workforce boards and community organizations around the country, including Veterans Inc. in Worcester.
Veterans Inc. will receive two grants totaling $400,000, the DOL said.
The grants, part of the Homeless Veterans Reintegration Program, represent second and third-year awards and were provided to organizations that demonstrated satisfactory performance during the past year.
The program provides occupational, classroom and on-the-job training, as well as job-placement and job-search services to military veterans.
