Verizon Wireless has expanded its 3G network to cover parts of Worcester around Mill Street and the Coes Reservoir.
The company said the move will allow its customers to more easily download files and use streaming videos or music from their notebook computers or smart phones.
The additional service comes from a new cell site, the company said.
