Verizon 4G Now On Main Street, Worcester
Verizon Wireless has been rolling out its higher-speed 4G LTE coverage around the region, and it’s now arrived on Worcester’s Main Street.
The carrier claims the service runs up to 10 times faster than 3G networks, allowing for better data access on smartphones and tablets. It says customers should now be able to receive 5 to 12 Mbps and send 2 to 5 Mbps.
The new area of coverage also includes parts of Routes 9 and 12.
