New Jersey-based Valeritas, which has manufacturing, research and development operations in Shrewsbury, has appointed a new CFO who will work out of the company’s Shrewsbury offices.
Valeritas announced Tuesday that Erick J. Lucera was named as the company’s CFO. Lucera has over 20 years of operational and investment experience at biotechnology, specialty pharmaceutical and medical technology companies, according to a release from Valeritas. He has served as CFO for several companies that went through the initial public offering process and was most recently the CFO of Viventia Bio, a late-stage oncology company that filed for an initial public offering in October 2015.
Valeritas is a commercial-stage medical technology company focused on developing technologies to improve the health of people with Type 2 diabetes.
