Uxbridge-based manufacturer Lampin Corp. appointed president and CEO John Biagioni to its board of directors.
With Biagioni’s appointment to the board, Lampin plans to leverage new opportunities and navigate the evolving landscape of the precision machining and engineering industry, according to a July 11 press release from Lampin.
Biagioni, who has been serving as CEO of Lampin since 2022, has a background in manufacturing, procurement, and management, Before joining Lampin, Biagioni was president at Franklin-based manufacturer Dynisco.
“His close connection to our markets, customers, and employees will undoubtedly enhance our ability to navigate emergent risks and seize opportunities. John's presence reinforces the bridge between our board and our day-to-day operations, ensuring we remain deeply connected and responsive to the issues that matter most,” Donald Romine, Lampin board member, said in the press release.
Biagioni holds a master’s degree in Operation and Information Technology from Worcester Polytechnic Institute and a bachelor’s degree in economics from the University of Rhode Island.
He serves as a board advisor for WPI’s Circular Economy and Data Analytics Engineering Research for Sustainability and for the Engineering Department Advisory Board. In 2024, he was appointed to the Employee Ownership Advisory Board for the state.
Lampin Corporation is a certified ESOP, providing manufacturing for major original equipment manufacturers in the aerospace, telecommunications, robotics, defense, renewable energy, and medical device industries. Lampin was founded in 1962 and has 35 employees, according to WBJ’s Research Department.
Sara Bedigian is a participant in the Editorial Internship Program at Worcester Business Journal. She is a rising junior at the University of Connecticut, where she studies journalism and political science. She will be the editor of the student-run newspaper The Daily Campus in the fall.
