UPS Foundation donates $300K

Project Bread, a Boston-based anti-hunger agency, has received a $300,000 grant from the UPS Foundation at UPS offices in Shrewsbury.

The grant will go towards Project Bread’s recent work in the Northeast Collaboration to Reduce Hunger and Improve Nutrition, and will be used to increase the number of children receiving meals and improving the quality of those meals.

Project Bread will administer the grant in several states, including Massachusetts, Connecticut, New York and Vermont over the next two years.  The program will be developed in Massachusetts.
