Marlborough custom manufacturer Universal Window and Door has named Jeff Reilly as its new CEO.
Reilly is replacing Jim Finn, who announced his retirement in August after six years at the helm of Universal Windows and Doors, according to a LinkedIn post from Finn.
Reilly joins Universal Window and Door from his role of CEO at Hingham-based firewood company Green Mountain Fire, according to an Oct. 1 press release from Universal Window and Door. Reilly continues to serve on the board of Green Mountain Fire.
Prior to his time at Green Mountain Fire, he was chief operating officer at national advisory firm, Kingston-based RogersGray (now part of The Baldwin Group), and president of Braintree-based Symmons Industries. Reilly held leadership roles at The Gillette Co. in Boston as it was acquired by Ohio-based multinational Procter & Gamble.
“I am excited to join the team at Universal and continue to build on the significant progress the organization has made,” Reilly said in the press release.
At Symmons, Reilly led global marketing and sales initiatives for a $100-million family-owned business, and he directed profit-and-loss activity for Oral-B’s largest and most profitable strategic business unit while at Procter & Gamble.
Founded in 1968, Universal Window and Door is a manufacturer of custom aluminum windows for historic buildings. The company services architects, general contractors, and developers of historic buildings. The company’s windows are installed in hundreds of National Register of Historic Places projects, according to the press release.
