United Solutions, a Leominster plastic manufacturer, announced on Tuesday it has extended its licensing agreement with Georgia manufacturer Rubbermaid Inc. for another seven years.
Under the agreement, United Solutions will have exclusive rights to manufacture, market and sell storage and organization products under several Rubbermaid brand names.
The companies have been collaborating since 2006. In that time, product sales have accelerated, according to a press release.
“Together, we have developed a winning strategy for developing high-quality products and strong relationships with retailers, and we look forward to continuing our momentum as we launch innovative products to the market,” said United Solutions CEO Dave Reilly, in a statement.
Notably, United Solutions was named WBJ’s 2021 Manufacturer of the Year for its efforts in workforce development, green production tactics, and business streamlining decisions.
